Start your week off right, grounded and focused
Monday Motivation July 15th 2024
Take a minute and just notice how you’re feeling right now.
Let’s kick it into the next gear this week. You can accomplish anything.
Get more focused and more present right now. Stop scrolling on your phone, start breathing.
Close your eyes and take 5 deep breaths, 3 seconds in, 4 seconds out.
Now let’s focus.
You got this.
This week, you’re going to crush your nutrition. What can you do right now to plan for the next couple days?
What can you do right now to move the needle?
Remember a few things this week:
Fix your environment
Self-control is better the less you have to use it
Eat slowly and notice when you are starting to get full (if you’re trying to lose weight you want to stop at 80-90% full)
Notice when you are eating out of boredom
Remember, if someone offers you cake or sweets you don’t have to take it. They’ll get over it if you decline! But by all means if it’s one of you favorites, eat the damn cake, lol.
If nothing else, eat an extra serving of fruits and/or vegetables every day.
PS If you are like me and have trouble getting up to go to the gym or some other type of exercise in the morning, try this:
Get everything ready the night before so you can roll out of bed and get going. Get your clothes ready, whatever drinks you need, your car keys etc
Put your alarm across the room so you can’t hit snooze
When your alarm goes off, get some sunlight or if the sun isn’t up splash some water on your face. DONT get back in bed
Even if you oversleep a little, still go!
