ATPeebles Fitness Newsletter Post No. 1
This Newsletter Is Where You Want To Be!
Where Do You Want To Be?
Welcome to my new first newsletter! If you follow me on social media, you know I love to talk about nutrition and working out. In particular, I'm passionate about fueling workouts to get the most out of them, and I love building muscle and strength. I am all about helping people become the best version of themselves.
There are a few things you know about me if you know me personally. I love sports, exercising, playing basketball regularly, lifting weights regularly, playing with my kids, and my day job involves physical therapy. I'm a frequent gym-goer because working out comes easy to me. It comes easier to me than to most people because I love it.
Another thing you might know about me is that I'm competitive. Whether it's board games, sports, card games, or anything else, I'm always competitive. When it comes to fitness and nutrition, that competitiveness comes in the form of trying to find the best way to do something. I'm continuously educating myself and always looking for the latest information. The drive to be the best I can be is a huge part of what motivates me.
The other driving force behind my love of fitness is my family. I want to be as healthy as I can for as long as possible. I want to be as active as I can to play sports and engage in outdoor activities with my kids as they grow up. That's my internal motivation that keeps me on track the most.
So, Why Start A Newsletter?
The whole reason I started ATPeebles Fitness is to help as many people as I can. I wanted a way to share my love of fitness and help others see the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
During my time working in healthcare for over a decade, I've seen the effects of lifestyles that neglect exercise and nutrition. I found myself helping people with problems that could have been prevented with a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, the healthcare industry does more to treat people after they fall ill than it does to prevent illness. Prevention has become the responsibility of each individual, but it also falls on people like me: health and fitness coaches/trainers who strive to help people do what they need to do to prevent a decline in health.
So, why a newsletter exactly?
While I often share my thoughts on social media, that content is usually short and to the point. I wanted a way to delve deeper into certain topics. In this newsletter, you will receive unique, more advanced content with more in-depth explanations. You can ask questions (in fact, I encourage questions), and I will answer them.
Who Is This Newsletter For?
This newsletter is for anyone that wants to learn about health and fitness. It’s for anyone who wants to learn about eating habits, weight loss, general nutrition education, and improving all aspects of performance.
We'll discuss topics such as building muscle and strength, improving aerobic endurance, enhancing mental performance, and developing the mindset necessary to reach your full potential.
We'll cover subjects like protein, meal timing, hydration, fruits and vegetables, carbs vs. no carbs, fasting, fad diets, pre and post-workout meals, including the science behind it all.
We'll talk about how fitness is a lifelong journey, not a 30-day cleanse or a 90-day diet.
Who's ready? I certainly am.
If that sounds like something you're interested in, then buckle up. Let's go!
